A featured article is an article which has been elected to be of excellent quality in terms of the article's informative nature, as well as various other aspects. The SgWWiki Featured Article is modelled around the Featured Article of Wikipedia. To nominate a page for featured article status, please see hither.

Featured articles are distinct from other articles as they appear with a golden star in the top-right corner of the page.

[edit] Qualities

The qualities that make an article a possible featured article are:

1. The article must be well written with detail.
2. The article must be written from a neutral point of view.
3. The article must be sourced with all available sources and appearances.
4. The article must follow the Layout Guide.
5. The article must not be the target of ongoing edit wars.
6. The article must not be tagged with any sort of improvement tags.
7. The article must have a sufficient proper lead that can be used for the front page featured box.
8. The article must not contain more than 10% red links (that is, no more than 10% of all links should be red).
9. The article must have a detailed biography (if a player article).
10. The article must be within the main namespace.
11. The article must not contain fanon.
